About klimabloc
Ziegelwerk Pichler Wels GmbH produces fired-clay bricks at its site in Wels, Upper Austria: standard bricks, plan bricks, acoustic bricks, special formats, U-shells and brick lintels under the klimabloc brand. Production includes the refinement and shaping of regional mineral raw materials, drying and firing in a tunnel kiln; plan grinding systems enable plan bricks up to 20 cm wall thickness. An adjacent redbloc precast plant manufactures massive brick wall modules fully automatically, which are delivered and installed after CAD design (Nemetschek Allplan). With around 25 employees, bricks for approximately 3,500 single-family homes are produced annually. Customers are residential construction and solid construction, predominantly in Austria. In addition to bricks, the company offers the DRY FIX extra connection system, accessories, technical consulting and structural design.
