About Ziegelwerk Köglmaier
Ziegelwerk Köglmaier was founded in 1888 and is run as a medium-sized family business in its fifth generation. At the Neustadt an der Donau site, UNIPOR bricks are manufactured and distributed, totaling around 130 brick formats. The bricks are made of fired clay and are porosified using sawdust; they offer good heat storage capacity, a natural capillary system for regulating air humidity, and thus contribute to a natural indoor climate. Production is being expanded in a resource- and environmentally friendly manner through ongoing investment in machinery and vehicle fleet. Customers include the construction industry, which uses the bricks primarily in masonry construction.
