About us
ZIEGLER + CIE AG, headquartered in Winterthur, has specialised in grinding, drilling and cutting technology for over 100 years. The company distributes diamond and CBN tools, dressing tools, bonded grinding bodies, polishing tools, cut-off and rough-grinding wheels, coated abrasives as well as blasting media and accessories for grinding machines (holders, clamping technology, balancing, coolants). Its main suppliers are Saint-Gobain Abrasives (WINTER/NORTON), Imerys (formerly Treibacher), GDS, UNITECH, DIAMUT, Thibaut and NOZAR. Since the year 2000, the company has produced diamond segment qualities in Winterthur in its own sintered production facility for the construction and natural stone industry, in particular for large circular saws and multiblade systems. The product range is complemented by an in-house machine shop for adapting special tools, application engineering, process optimisation and training. Customers come from tool grinding shops, the automotive, turbine and rolling bearing industries, the glass industry, electronics, natural stone processing and foundries. Three locations in Winterthur, Châtel-St-Denis and Osogna cover the German-, French- and Italian-speaking regions of Switzerland.
