About Zimmermann Schalldämpfer
Zimmermann Schalldämpfer manufactures exhaust systems and mufflers made of stainless steel in Hille (North Rhine-Westphalia), in particular custom-made products for model aircraft with combustion engines. The product range includes external mufflers, canister mufflers and resonance pipes as well as connection and fastening materials such as PTFE connection sets, mounting brackets, high-silver brazing solder and heat-resistant silicone sealant. Production is based on in-house forming technology: tube and sheet metal forming, developments, segmentation, notching, cut-outs and necking-out. For custom-made products, exhaust systems are fitted precisely to the customer's model or to a customer-made engine bulkhead dummy with engine and cowl to ensure accurate fit under the engine cowling. Customers come primarily from the model aviation sector.
