Zink KÖRNER Hagen GmbH, based in Hagen, plans, manufactures and installs hot-dip galvanizing plants for piece goods, tubes as well as small parts and fasteners. The product range includes the automatic small-part galvanizing plant Zinc Elephant³ with three-arm manipulation system, furnaces with ceramic pot and surface heating (bath temperature up to 600 °C), the in-house developed plate flame burners FL 20/50 with 1:10 modulating control, hard zinc distillation furnaces with 85–88 % zinc recovery, hard zinc grippers, zinc centrifuges, zinc pumps and water quench baths. The portfolio is complemented by services such as kettle replacement including zinc pumping, ultrasonic kettle wall thickness measurement and spare parts supply with guaranteed availability of at least 10 years, also for plants from other manufacturers. Within the Körner group, the sister companies Wirekörner plan galvanizing plants for wire and strip and Kordt heat treatment plants of all kinds. Galvanized components from these plants can be found in balconies, light poles, noise barriers, overhead line towers, wind turbines, rail vehicles and fastening technology.
