Zöschener Maschinen und Anlagen GmbH (ZÖMA) is a specialist for hydraulics and mechanical engineering based in Leuna, district of Zöschen. Founded in 1991, the company manufactures hydraulic cylinders as new production to customer specifications, to TGL standards, and also carries out repairs, as well as hydraulic fittings and hydraulic hoses. Production covers design, turning, milling, welding, coloring (painting) and contract manufacturing. In mechanical engineering, special machinery is built, including aluminium UV packers for sewer rehabilitation, log splitters and fully automatic saw-and-split machines. Weld seams are tested by means of a water pressure test. 25 employees work on a 12,500 m² site. The company offers consulting, planning, development and service with individual manufacturing.
