The Zünd Group is a competence center for demanding plano optics and optical coatings with a production site in Diepoldsau, Switzerland. With 65 employees, the company develops and produces custom plano-optical components, microprisms and optical assemblies for customers from industries such as optics, photonics, machine vision, electronics and mechanics. The entire value chain is united under one roof at the site: from bonding through grinding, lapping, polishing and beveling to coating, cementing and assembly of optical assemblies. The range of services extends from the manufacture of complex optical assemblies to high-tech coating of a wide variety of substrate types and shapes. The company supports its customers throughout the entire product life cycle — from engineering to series production — and supplies customers worldwide. Both Zünd Präzisionsoptik AG and Optivac AG are certified to ISO 9001:2015.
