About Zufag AG
Zufag AG, based in Lützelflüh-Goldbach (Canton of Bern), manufactured and distributed automation systems of all kinds. The product range included feeding and conveying technology such as spiral conveyors, linear conveyors, plate and step conveyors as well as flexible feeding systems with camera and robot systems. Mechanical manufacturing comprised turning, milling and various machining operations; in the profile-building division, an aluminium profile system was produced, including components, workstation equipment, frames, conveyor belts and roller conveyors. In addition, special machines were built, such as palletizing systems, manual assembly workstations in one-piece flow, and semi- and fully automatic systems for assembly, testing, packaging, dosing, joining and labeling. The main customers were in the automation and feeding technology sectors. As of January 1, 2021, the newly founded Ambis Solutions AG (Asic Group) took over all business operations of Zufag AG together with Zihlmann Profiltechnik AG and Scheidegger AG; Zufag AG was deleted from the commercial register on June 2, 2021. The new company headquarters is located in Burgdorf with around 50 employees.
