About ZURIGA
ZURIGA is a Swiss manufacturer of high-quality espresso machines and coffee grinders based in Zurich. Since 2016, the devices have been developed, designed, assembled and distributed in the company's own manufactory in Zurich Altstetten. A ZURIGA consists of 318 individual parts, which are assembled and inspected by hand; production is not for stock but made to order. Product development includes hardware engineering including hydraulics, thermodynamics and temperature control. Manufactured and processed materials include brushed stainless steel (chromium steel), anodized aluminium as well as walnut and oak wood for accessories such as portafilters and wooden lids, whose layers are cross-glued to one another, sanded by hand and oiled. In addition to manufacturing, ZURIGA offers workshop service, repair («designed for repair»), barista courses, manufactory tours and the refurbished program ZURIGA:re. Suppliers come predominantly from Switzerland. Products and service reach private customers, gastronomy and design customers in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
