ZW Drive GmbH, with its brand PREETO, is the German subsidiary of the Chinese drive specialist Shenzhen ZHAOWEI Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 003021), founded in 2001. The group develops and manufactures micro-drive systems with over 20 years of experience, more than 2,000 developed drive solutions and over 100 million ABS components produced for the automotive industry. PREETO offers complete mid-drive motor systems (P60, P90, P110, P1000B) as well as batteries, shifting components and displays for e-bike applications ranging from eCity through eGravel and eMTB to eCargo – from concept development through prototyping with over 200 tests to MES-supported series production. The entire value chain including toolmaking, gear grinding, injection molding, powder metallurgy, PCBA assembly and motor production takes place in its own plants in Shenzhen, Dongguan and Suzhou. German contact locations are located in Ottobrunn and Marktoberdorf, with a further location in Castro Valley, USA.

Quality & Certifications
Own network of test laboratories (control, reliability and EMC laboratory) with a Zeiss computer tomograph and CMM, Klingelnberg gear testing center and B&K PULSE noise analysis system. Every rotor is 100 % balanced, solder joints are tested by X-ray and AOI, and end products undergo more than 200 performance tests as well as aging tests of up to 5,000 hours.
