About Zweko Optics
Zweko Optics is a Belgian processor of transparent plastics founded in 1989, based in Bocholt. The company develops and produces helmet visors for police, fire brigade, sports and occupational safety, as well as display covers, cover plates and technical plastic components. The value chain includes thermoforming (vacuum forming), milling, sawing and trimming, as well as assembly and prototype construction, complemented by its own R&D department for product development. Under the ViewTec brand, coatings (scratch-resistant, anti-fog, UV protection) are applied in its own coating line to thermoformed visors, injection-molded parts and transparent sheets. Series sizes range from a few hundred to a few tens of thousands of units per year; base materials are kept in stock. Customers are located worldwide, including in electronics, medical technology, mechanical engineering and automotive. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 (TÜV NORD).
