For over 50 years, ZWP Zahnradwerk Pritzwalk GmbH has been manufacturing gears, gear rims and gear shafts to customer drawings. The range extends from standardized components to highly complex transmission components, including turbo gearboxes. On 28,000 m² of production space in Pritzwalk, all manufacturing steps from raw material to the finished, hardened and ground component are combined under one roof. Gearing is performed with modules of 1 to 50 mm and diameters of 50 to 2,000 mm at tolerances up to quality grade 4 per DIN. An in-house hardening shop covering over 3,000 m² enables individual heat treatment including hardening and tempering, case hardening and quenching in oil or polymer. Manufacturing and heat treatment are complemented by balancing, assembly, documented inspections and an own testing laboratory. Products are supplied to customers from rail transport, automotive engineering, wind power, offshore and marine technology, mining technology, pump and compressor engineering as well as crane construction and are delivered worldwide to six continents.

Quality
All manufacturing processes from incoming goods inspection to delivery are subject to continuous monitoring with digital analysis of measurement data. A modern testing laboratory performs spectral analyses, destructive testing, microstructure assessments and hardness profile curves; certificates per DIN/EN/ISO as well as inspections involving classification societies are possible.
