2point engineering GmbH, with locations in Alpnach Dorf and Sarnen in the canton of Obwalden, develops and implements complete mechatronic solutions for industrial automation. The company manufactures and integrates special machines and complex production facilities, including gluing machines, automatic feeding systems and components for high-bay warehouses such as storage and retrieval machines. The range of services covers analysis and design, development and testing of functional models and prototypes, transfer to series production, mechanical, electrical and control engineering implementation, commissioning, CE documentation and operator training. In addition, 2point offers retrofit solutions for existing facilities, spare parts supply and regular maintenance to avoid downtime and extend machine service life. Customers come from mechanical engineering, plant construction and warehousing technology; projects have been realised in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, among others.
