ADAPT Elektronik GmbH is an owner-managed manufacturer of electrical connections based in Großheubach on the Lower Main. Founded in 1972, the company develops and produces custom round cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, FFC flat cables, encapsulated assemblies and system assemblies. Production includes crimping, hotmelt molding, selective soldering, two-component encapsulation, injection molding with overmolding of insert parts (Arburg vertical machines, shot volume up to 40 cm³, projected area up to 15 x 15 cm) as well as WID resistance welding technology with fully automated process monitoring. Materials processed include plastic granulates such as PA, PP, TPE, TPU and ABS as well as gold-plated and tin-plated round pins for FFC connectors. The product range extends from prototypes in near-series quality to small, medium and large series. Customers come from plant engineering, the automotive industry, medical technology and industrial electronics. In addition to its headquarters in Großheubach, the subsidiary plants ADAPT electronic CZ s.r.o. in Machov (Czech Republic) and ADAPT electronic CRO d.o.o. in Lucko (Croatia) also manufacture; more than 300 employees work across Europe.
