About Alfred Kron GmbH
Founded in 1903, Alfred Kron GmbH is a fourth-generation family business from Solingen that manufactures high-precision stamped and stamped-bent parts, formed springs, busbars, EMC contact springs and metal-plastic hybrid assemblies in material thicknesses from 0.15 to 4.00 mm. Processes include stamping and stamping-bending technology on BIHLER and Bruderer automatic presses, plastic injection molding (Arburg, Netstal, Battenfeld), insert molding, heat treatment, vibratory finishing, coating (zinc plating, nickel plating, powder coating) as well as fully automated and manual assembly. Materials used include strip steels, spring strip steels, stainless steel, copper and copper alloys, nickel silver, tombak, brass and aluminium as well as high-performance plastics. Design and toolmaking are carried out entirely in-house. Customers come from automotive and e-mobility, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, medical technology, the furniture and construction industries, and telecommunications. At the Solingen site (approx. 10,000 m² of office and production space), around 90 employees produce roughly one billion parts annually – from small series to large series with worldwide shipping.
