The Company
BiERBACH is a fastening technology manufacturer founded in 1855 in Altena in the Sauerland region, with its headquarters in Unna (Westphalia). The company manufactures special nails, hooks and screws to customer drawings as well as a stock programme with more than 1,000 varieties, produced at its parent plant in Unna on computer-controlled production systems. Products are made in diameters from 0.5 to 10 mm and lengths from 5 to 400 mm from steel (natural hard or hardened), stainless steel A2/A4, aluminium, brass, copper and special alloys; in addition, the company offers heat treatment, phosphating, galvanising, coating and painting in RAL colours. Customers include master carpenters, joiners, interior fitters, architects, structural engineers, the building materials trade and DIY enthusiasts. Quality is ensured by an in-house materials laboratory (microstructure and strength testing) as well as optical measuring equipment with 100% inspection; where required, supported by structural calculations, test certificates and ETA approvals.
