BioGenius GmbH is a GLP test laboratory based in TechnologiePark Bergisch Gladbach specialising in the development, testing and registration of biocidal and plant protection products. The service portfolio covers active ingredient and product testing from content determination to complex analytical questions, stability testing, standardised and customised efficacy tests (including PT18/PT19) as well as particle and droplet size analysis. In its own laboratory, more than 26 species of pest insects are reared, including four mosquito and three cockroach species; efficacy tests are conducted in the laboratory and in apartment-like rooms. In addition, the company offers product development, regulatory consulting and registration support through to the GLP registration study. BioGenius employs around 30 staff on 3,000 m² of space and works for customers in more than 50 countries from the biocide, plant protection and chemical industries as well as for consulting firms and registration authorities.

Founded in December by four founders (including Mike Bublitz, formerly Bayer laboratory) with nine employees on 800 m² in Monheim and three customers.
