About Gimbio
Gimbio GmbH, based in Freising in the immediate vicinity of the Technical University of Munich campus (Weihenstephan), has been developing solutions for optimizing central brewing processes since 2003. The portfolio comprises three technology areas: virtual expert systems for filtration, lauter brewing and yeast propagation, which support and make reproducible decision-making processes in brewing practice; Next Generation Automation (NGA), a process automation solution aimed at small and medium-sized breweries based on modern automation logic; and SonoFill, a non-invasive, ultrasonic-based level measurement system that measures the contents of pressure tanks contact-free through the tank wall — without downtime and without hygienic risk. Customers are breweries and companies in the liquid food industry worldwide. The company employs 2–10 staff and works on research and development cooperations with universities.
