KIESOW Austria GmbH, headquartered in Aurolzmünster (Upper Austria), is a subsidiary of the KIESOW group founded in 1921 with its main headquarters in Detmold, and specializes in the development, production and distribution of mechanical and chemical processes for the treatment and finishing of metal and plastic surfaces. The product range includes polishing pastes and polishing emulsions, aqueous degreasing and descaling products, iron, zinc and manganese phosphating, electroplating process baths (copper, nickel, chromium, zinc, zinc-nickel, zinc-iron, tin), electroless chemical nickel processes, passivations and sealants (top coats) as well as tarnish protection for silver. In addition, basic chemicals, anodes, accessories such as Hull cells made in-house, dosing technology and products for industrial wastewater treatment are offered. As a system supplier, KIESOW covers the process chain from polishing to final sealing. The company operates its own analytical laboratory and, with its own sales companies, supplies among others Poland, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Hungary; certificates such as QUALICOAT, GSB and QIB confirm the tested pretreatment chemistry.
