About MaCon
MaCon GmbH & Co. KG is an engineering office from Lohfelden near Kassel specializing in design, robot simulation and consulting for mechanical and plant engineering. Founded in 2009 by Markus Schmidt and currently employing five staff, the company develops machines and systems for special machinery, structural steel construction and the automotive sector. Its designs are deliberately kept simple and use as many standard parts as possible to minimize the susceptibility of the systems to faults. Since 2019, MaCon has offered professional robot simulation, with which planned paths and processes of automated systems can be virtually tested before they are built. In addition to design, the team supports customers with consulting on workflows, feasibility studies, and the development of system concepts and layouts — from the quotation phase through to the finished design. Customers include VW Kassel/Baunatal and R+R Maschinenbau in Steinhagen.
