About MMT
Manufacture Modules Technologies (MMT) is a Swiss developer and manufacturer of hardware and software for medical and lifestyle wearables based in Plan-les-Ouates near Geneva, in the Skylab high-tech centre. Founded in 2015, the company offers an integrated end-to-end platform for Horological Smartwatches: firmware, iOS and Android apps, SwissConnect cloud, OTA updates, series production including hardware and software serialization, and service applications. MMT modules and calibres such as the MMT-286/287 and the MMT-283 ANADIGIT form the technical basis of smartwatches and smart straps (E-Straps) of well-known brands such as Frederique Constant, Alpina, Movado, Mondaine and Ferragamo; for the Frederique Constant Hybrid Manufacture, MMT developed the PCB electronics. The platform is characterized by more than two years of battery life, sensor fusion for activity and sleep monitoring, and measurement functions for UV, temperature, altitude, pressure, motion and direction, and has been tested on over 100 smartphones in more than 70 countries. Since December 2019 and initial certification in 2022, MMT has been certified according to ISO 13485; the software development process follows IEC 62304 and is geared toward CE-MDR and FDA certification. Cumulatively, more than 250'000 modules have been produced.
