About Manufaktur Marton
Manufaktur Marton GmbH, based in Hagendorn ZG (municipality of Cham), is a specialized manufactory for electric conversions of classic and youngtimer vehicles. Founded in 2018 by Silvia and Till Marton, the company offers the complete package, from needs assessment and concept development to component sourcing and the finished, road-legal electric vehicle. The value chain includes removing the engine and gearbox, custom design of engine mounts and battery boxes, assembly of battery cells into a battery with a battery management system, and installation of the motor and electronics. Depending on the vehicle's condition, complete handcrafted restorations as well as bespoke interiors (fabric upholstery, custom compartment constructions, entirely new interiors) are also carried out. After the conversion, dynamometer tests are performed; testing of electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is carried out by accredited test institutes, followed by expert reports, registration with the road traffic office and a follow-up inspection after 1000 km. The company targets private individuals with individual vehicles (one-offs/prototypes) and uses Swiss products and suppliers wherever possible.
