About Metalock Engineering Germany
Metalock Engineering is an engineering service provider specializing in mechanical repair and machining projects. The group of around 400 employees performs on-site machining, laser guided machining (LGM), on-site CNC machining, crankpin and shaft machining, cold repairs on cast parts made of cast iron, steel and aluminium, thermal spraying as well as mobile laser cladding (laser powder deposition welding). In addition, the group offers metrology with laser tracking and 3D scanning, alignment services, machine overhauls to DIN standards and mechanical manufacturing of spare parts in its own workshops. Customers come from the power supply sector, the steel industry, press and forging technology, marine/offshore, mining as well as oil & gas. With 24/7 emergency service and more than 100 countries served, the group ensures the fastest possible restart of plants. The German headquarters with workshop is located in Norderstedt; further German workshops exist in Oberhausen, Mannheim and Landsberg (Halle) as well as a surveying site in Bochum.
