About Miba
Miba AG, headquartered in Laakirchen, Austria, develops and produces function-critical components along the entire energy value chain – from generation through transmission and storage to the use of energy. The product portfolio includes sintered structural parts, hydrodynamic engine and industrial plain bearings, friction linings for clutches and brakes, power electronics components (resistors, heat sinks, bypass switches), coating solutions, clad materials, eMobility components as well as special-purpose machinery. Manufacturing technologies include sintering, laser welding, EMPT (electromagnetic pulse technology), roll cladding, PVD and sputter coating, and vacuum-brazed heat sinks; materials used include steel, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, lead bronze and CuSn12Ni2 on 42CrMo4. The products are used in vehicles, ships, aircraft, construction and agricultural machinery, wind turbines, power plants and power grids. The Group, with around 7,400 employees, serves 30 locations worldwide; in fiscal year 2025/26 revenue was 1,202 million EUR.
