About Numtec Perform
Numtec Perform is a German service provider for additive manufacturing with the ambition to realize components from the idea to the finished product from a single source. Its service portfolio includes 3D printing using FDM, SLA, SLS, DED and PolyJet processes, CAD design with print-optimized component engineering, 3D scanning for reverse engineering and quality assurance, as well as a carbon manufacturing facility where additive manufacturing is combined with a proprietary carbon hybrid technology. Production is carried out in plastics such as photopolymer resins, digital materials with different Shore hardnesses and in-house premium filaments for FDM printing; as a special solution, carbon composite components are added for high-load, lightweight structures. The offering ranges from functional prototypes and concept models to cost-effective small series without tooling costs (10 to 10,000 pieces) and PolyJet micro series of around 10 to 50 pieces with full color and multi-material capability. Customers include industrial and private clients; additionally, the company offers project management, technical support and a shop for premium filaments. According to its website, more than 3,000 additive projects have been realized, and the manufacturing systems of the NP Allstar Series run in continuous industrial operation.

Materials & Processes
FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)
Cost-efficient process for functional prototypes and small series of 10 to 10,000 pieces, also with in-house premium filaments.
SLA (Stereolithography)
Process using photopolymer resin for detailed prototypes and concept models.
SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)
Robust components without support structures, suitable for load-bearing functions and small series.
DED (Directed Energy Deposition)
Deposition process that enables, among other things, repairs and metallic applications.
PolyJet
Jetting of photopolymer resin for full-color and multi-material components with different Shore hardnesses and an injection-molding-like surface; typical lot sizes approx. 10–50 pieces.
Carbon Hybrid Technology
Proprietary combination of additive manufacturing and carbon for maximum strength at minimum weight.
Digital Materials
Resin blends mixed during printing that enable rigid and elastic zones as well as color gradients within a single component.
Premium Filaments
In-house filament brand for FDM, tested in continuous industrial operation and available in the shop.
