PROLED develops and produces LED lighting solutions for function and lighting ambience. The portfolio includes Flex Strips, Flex Tubes, profiles, strips and Flex Lines, downlights, surface-mounted and recessed luminaires, linear luminaires, panels, tracklights, wall and floor recessed luminaires, underwater luminaires, industrial luminaires as well as controllers, power supplies and accessories for DMX, DALI and analogue dimming. Since its foundation, all essential functions – Manufacturing, R&D, Warehousing, Testing Lab and Support – have been bundled at the headquarters in Friedberg, enabling short distances, fast response and short delivery times. In manufacturing, Flex Tubes and Flex Strips are among other things sealed with firmly welded end caps using a heat-sealing process; custom finishing such as covers on rolls up to 10 m length and individual cut-to-size products are also part of the offering. A photometric laboratory tests power consumption, luminous flux, spectrum, colour temperature, colour rendering, flicker-free operation and glare. Reference projects include Fairmas Offices, the Osmose Yoga Studio in Vienna and the Prime Time fitness studio. In 2024 the PROLED Group was acquired by the Galaed Group, and in 2025 the company was a partner of the World Expo in Osaka and expanded its portfolio with Digital Pixel.

Galaed Group acquires the PROLED Group and becomes an important European player in the LED lighting market (press release dated 3 May 2024).
- 2025
Partner of the World Expo 2025 in Osaka with staging of the German Pavilion for the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs; expansion of the portfolio with Digital Pixel at ISE 2025 in Barcelona.
