SASTA Stahlgesellschaft mbH is a Saxon steel trading company founded in 1991, headquartered in Hartmannsdorf near Chemnitz and part of the CARL SPAETER Group. On approx. 3,200 m² of warehouse space, the company keeps around 2,200 t of stock of quality steel, bright steel, free-cutting steel, stainless steel, tubes, grey and continuous cast iron as well as aluminium and non-ferrous metals. Its core service is processing in the form of precise saw cutting: with a Behringer HBM 440A fully automatic saw, solid materials, tubes and profiles are machined within a cutting range of 40 to 440 mm. In addition, SASTA offers finishing, marking, complete production preparation as well as outsourcing projects such as material storage, stock planning and item delivery. Customers come mainly from mechanical and plant engineering and the metalworking industry in Saxony and Thuringia.
