About Satisloh
Satisloh is a manufacturer of manufacturing solutions for the optical industry, covering the two business fields Ophthalmic (eyeglass lens manufacturing) and Precision Optics (precision optics/fine optics). The portfolio includes machines for all process steps of lens manufacturing – from blocking and deblocking through generating, polishing, cleaning, engraving, tinting and hard coating to AR coating and edging – as well as grinding, polishing, finishing, centering and thin-film coating systems for precision optics. The machines are complemented by lab automation, software such as MES-360 and Rx-Universe, consumables, and a service and support offering with maintenance programs (STEP Maintenance), machine refurbishment (Machine Refurbish & Upgrade), lab consulting, coating testing and technical training. The company was formed in 2005 through the merger of the vacuum coating specialist Satis Vacuum group with Wilhelm Loh KG, founded in 1922, and has been part of the French Essilor Group since 2008. Its headquarters are in Baar, Switzerland; the original location was Wetzlar in Germany. Satisloh supplies customers in EMEA, India, the USA, Canada and worldwide.
