Lighting solutions for infrastructure and industry – all from a single source

Schmidt-Strahl GmbH is a full-service provider of lighting solutions for infrastructure and industry. At its Meerbusch site, the company develops and manufactures LED and conventional luminaires for railway stations, track systems, industrial halls, roads, crane systems and sports facilities. The portfolio includes rail, industrial, street, area and floodlight luminaires, crane and safety luminaires, as well as converters, LED retrofit kits and custom special solutions. In addition to its own product development, Schmidt-Strahl offers lighting design with calculations and simulations, lighting control, and on-site installation and refurbishment. Housings are made of aluminium, powder-coated sheet steel and stainless steel, with covers made of polycarbonate. As a partner repeatedly rated as a Q1 supplier of Deutsche Bahn AG and an ISO-9001-certified company, Schmidt-Strahl realizes projects for rail, the steel industry, cities and municipalities, and sports facilities. Its roots in luminaire manufacturing go back beyond the Ernst Rademacher GmbH, integrated in 2009, to the year 1914.
