Schocher + Rüegg AG is a Swiss switchgear construction company based in Chur. The company plans and manufactures customised switchgear combinations, individual control cabinets and control solutions as well as power and control distribution systems for industry, commerce and public buildings. Its range of services also includes automation solutions for machines and systems – in cooperation with partner companies in the software field – as well as maintenance and customer service from planning through manufacturing to commissioning, all from a single source. Fields of application include, among others, railways, tunnels, wastewater treatment plants, power distribution systems with type verification in accordance with SNR 462638 or Standard 61439, healthcare, photovoltaics as well as building developments and residential construction. Having emerged from the combination of two established companies with roots dating back to 1963, the company today employs 26 staff. Customers include Teco Engineering AG, Gritec AG, the City of Chur administration (ARA), Hamilton Bonaduz AG and Emmi Käse AG.
