About Schrade Drehtechnik
Schrade GmbH & Co. KG Drehtechnik is an owner-managed family business from Sundern in the Sauerland region and has been producing precision turned parts for industrial applications since 1995. Production takes place on CNC machines and cam-controlled automatic lathes, enabling both highly complex and geometrically simpler turned parts to be manufactured economically. Non-ferrous and light metals, all steel products as well as special and stainless steels are processed in the form of round, multi-edged and tube materials. The range of services includes, in addition to 3D complete machining, surface finishing (chrome plating, nickel plating, galvanizing, anodizing, powder coating), heat treatment, fully automatic cleaning as well as assembly and kitting of complete assemblies. Customers come from the gas and hydraulics industry, the fittings/valve industry, medical and rehabilitation technology, and electrical engineering. On 2,500 square meters of production space, 33 machines and 20 employees work; since 2021, a photovoltaic system with 180 kWp has supported production.
