Schulte - Elektrotechnik was founded in 1964 by Siegfried Schulte in Lüdenscheid and has been developing electrical products ever since, initially patented protective switches for machines. Under the EVOline brand, the company today offers modular system solutions for the decentralized distribution of power, data and multimedia – from built-in sockets such as One, Circle80, BackFlip, Square80 and Port, to dock systems and power strips (Express, APSA) for 19-inch racks. Manufacturing takes place with a high level of vertical integration at the Lüdenscheid site with around 200 employees; the plastics injection molding shop is located in the plant at Altena-Rosmart, just under eight kilometers away, whose production hall built in 2019 is operated almost energy-autonomously. A large proportion of raw materials comes from long-standing suppliers in Germany. The products are used in offices, hotels, kitchens, educational institutions and laboratories and are distributed through more than 30 sales partners worldwide. Since 2020 the company has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

The products are manufactured in-house with a high proportion of manual work and are safeguarded by an elaborate electrical quality inspection; certifications according to TÜV, VDE, UL and CB standards. The QM system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (TÜV NORD, valid until 2029-02-19).
