Schwarzer Spannzeug Vertriebs GmbH was founded in 1987 as the second company of the corporate group centered around Schwarzer Maschinenbau GmbH, founded by Helmut Schwarzer in 1969. The managing director is Bianka Schwarzer, daughter of the company founder. The family-owned company specializes in the chip-forming introduction of profiles, in particular profile broaching/broach-forming of square, hexagon and gear profiles as well as slotting in metal. In addition, the manufacturing and service portfolio includes CNC turning, CNC milling, CNC grinding, drilling, EDM, laser marking, coating, heat treatment (consulting), assembly manufacturing, assembly technology, cylinder manufacturing/hydraulics, repairs as well as development, design and CAD-CAM programming. Mechanical components are manufactured in steel, non-ferrous metals, plastics and other materials; customers come from metalworking, toolmaking, mechanical engineering, hydraulics and cylinder manufacturing. In January 2025, production and tool sales merged into Schwarzer Maschinen GmbH after Frank Schwarzer retired. The tools are sold worldwide via direct sales as well as 95 national and 57 international distributors.
