SELCO GmbH, based in Chemnitz, develops sensors, controllers, interfaces as well as app and cloud solutions for building automation with a focus on sanitary applications. The portfolio includes sensor products for faucets, urinals, WCs, showers and other sanitary applications such as soap dispensers, hand dryers and lighting. Core competencies lie in RF/radar, active infrared, time-of-flight, capacitive and temperature sensors; further technologies such as pressure, flow and air quality are integrated via third-party components. The basis is the standardized S/NET product platform with modules for sensors (S/SENS), controllers (S/CTRL), communication (S/BLUE) and gateways (S/GATE), which enables connection to IoT, BMS and cloud systems. Thanks to miniaturization, sensors and electronics can also be retrofitted into existing housing designs. The company was founded in 2023 by Sven and Jakob, who can look back on more than 100 years of combined innovation experience and more than 100 projects in building automation.
