About Semodia
Semodia GmbH is a start-up founded in Dresden in 2019 that specializes in the modularization of process plants using MTP technology (Module Type Package). The company develops software products and libraries for modular automation as well as services spanning the entire MTP process: potential workshops, MTP workshops, conceptual consulting including PEA specification and MTP creation, pilot and integration projects, and engineering projects through to implementation on the control system, test scenarios and commissioning. Semodia was involved in developing the VDI/VDE/NAMUR 2658 guideline and NE 175 and contributes to the MTP specification of PROFIBUS & PROFINET International. Target groups are module, control system, field device and engineering tool manufacturers as well as laboratory and plant operators in the process industry, including the P2O Lab at TU Dresden.
