About Senodis
Senodis Technologies GmbH was spun off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS in Dresden in October 2019 in order to commercialize the Ceracode® marking technology developed at the institute. The company offers marking solutions for hot-formed metal components for which conventional marking methods fail due to process temperatures above 900 °C. The Ceracode® printing process based on ceramic inks enables seamless, counterfeit-proof identification of components along the entire process chain. In addition, Senodis develops software for industrial laser systems that makes common industry codes counterfeit-proof while also reducing the marking time per code. The solutions support digital component traceability, data acquisition in production, and implementation of the Digital Product Pass (DPP). Target industries are the metal industry, automotive suppliers, mechanical engineering, as well as laser manufacturers and companies from robotics & automation.
