About set-aparte

set-aparte is a room acoustics manufactory based in Geisenfeld (Bavaria) that develops and manufactures free-standing, sound-absorbing room dividers under the name ACOUSTIC PARAVENTS set aparté®. The patented, modularly constructed paravents can be configured, rearranged and extended without tools and create separate areas for concentrated work or confidential conversations. Cover and filling are made of 100 percent pure sheep's wool, which filters pollutants and irritants from the room air; the covers are interchangeable via zippers. In addition to standard sets and individual modules, the manufactory creates customized room concepts and custom-made products based on the customer's floor plan, such as custom-made absorber surfaces for interior walls or acoustically effective curtains. Customers come from office and working environments, retail and car dealerships, hotels, the electrical industry, associations and public administration. References include Auto Köhler, Bachner Elektro, cash.life AG, Ernst & Young and SAP Hybris. The Acoustic Paravents were awarded the Bavarian State Prize and were represented as a nominee for the German Design Award as well as at the International Crafts Fair in Munich.
