About us
SEW-PowerSystems GmbH in Wangen im Allgäu is a 100% subsidiary of SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG and a specialized development site for equipment supplying power to industrial electric drive systems. The team of more than 40 covers the entire spectrum of product development for power electronics equipment at the site: mechanical development, power and signal electronics, software development, type testing and product certification, as well as production ramp-up through to series release. The focus is on supply modules with adjustable DC-link voltage, DC/DC converters, power and energy storage systems with supercapacitors, and contactless power transmission under the 'Power and Energy Solutions' product family. The products are manufactured at the SEW-EURODRIVE production facilities in Bruchsal and at international locations; the site itself operates its own laboratories for power, thermal, EMC and vibration testing. Its sole customer is the parent company SEW-EURODRIVE.
