About Sieben-S
Sieben-S GmbH develops and produces remotely inspectable Type C smoke alarms as well as standard and custom-specific detector systems. The devices automatically monitor safety-relevant functions such as the smoke chamber, battery and signal tone and report faults via radio; the annual inspection can therefore be carried out without an on-site appointment. Via open interfaces such as LoRaWAN, OMS (Open Metering System) and Wireless M-Bus, the detectors can be integrated into smart home and building technology, into Smart Meter Gateways (SMGW) and into the submetering infrastructures of metering service providers. The company has been independent since 2025 and emerged from a business unit within the Hager Group that had existed for around 20 years. Development and manufacturing take place entirely in Europe; production is carried out in a plant in Romania using solar power and recycled plastic. Core customer groups are the housing industry, large residential properties, commercial customers and metering service providers.
