Sigmann Elektronik GmbH develops and manufactures custom electronics, electronic assemblies and complete devices at its site in Hüffenhardt in the Neckar-Odenwald district. Its range of services extends from concept discussions and requirements specification to hardware and software design, prototype and sample production, and series production with SMD/THT assembly, final assembly, testing and complete technical documentation. In addition to contract manufacturing for automation and safety technology, control, regulation and metrology as well as heating and climate technology, the company offers its own products such as climate controllers for churches, the Data-Master for energy monitoring and smart metering, as well as system technology. Since 2009, Sigmann Elektronik has been developing and manufacturing electronics and components for explosion-protected areas under its own responsibility in accordance with the ATEX Product Directive 2014/34/EU and IECEx. For prototype and tooling production, 3D printing (print volume 330 x 240 x 300 mm), CNC milling and laser engraving/laser cutting are available. Typical production volumes are up to approximately 2,000 units per product per year. The company gained international recognition through devices developed jointly with the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg.
