SIGMATEK GmbH & Co KG develops and produces complete automation solutions for industrial machines and systems. The family-owned company, founded in 1988 and headquartered in Lamprechtshausen near Salzburg, manufactures its system components – CPU units, industrial PCs, decentralized I/O systems (S-DIAS, P-DIAS, X-DIAS), HMI panels, motion components such as servo drives, frequency inverters and servo motors, as well as safety modules – at its headquarters in Austria. Electronics manufacturing is carried out in the Low Volume / High Mix segment, complemented by in-house software development with the LASAL engineering platform (object-oriented programming according to IEC 61131-3) and the real-time Ethernet bus system VARAN. The QM system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001. Target industries include, among others, printing & paper, plastics technology, metalworking, logistics & material flow, robotics & handling, packaging & food as well as testing & inspection. The company employs around 500 people worldwide and is 100% owned by the Melkus and Kusejko families.
