About Simeto Kabelsysteme

Simeto Kabelsysteme GmbH is a manufacturing service provider for custom cabling systems, electromechanical modules, wound components and technical plastic parts. Founded in 1958 in Klingenthal, the company specialised from 1990 onwards in cable assembly and PCB assembly and has since expanded its range of services to include injection moulding, hotmelt technology and wound component manufacturing. It produces cable harnesses, individual wires, multi-core, flat ribbon and coaxial cables using connection techniques such as crimping, IDC (insulation displacement), soldering and resistance welding to DIN EN 60352. Magnetic coils, chokes, transformers and inductors are made from enamelled copper wire from 0.05 to 1.5 mm, complemented by self-bonding wire (Backlack) technology. Using modern Arburg injection moulding machines, technical plastic parts are produced from polyamide, PBT and polycarbonate; the low-pressure injection overmoulding technique protects connectors and electronics up to IP 68. Customers come from the automotive, medical technology, mechanical engineering, measurement and control technology and household appliance sectors. In addition to its headquarters in Klingenthal with around 4,000 m² of production space, the company operates production sites in Kraslice (Czech Republic) and Baia Mare (Romania) and supplies customers across Europe and worldwide.

Quality and Standards

An integrated quality assurance system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and an environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 ensure process quality, complemented by process audits according to UL standard. Every module is fully tested for continuity, insulation resistance and high-voltage safety; a microsection laboratory as well as crimp height and pull-out force measurements complete the testing technology.
