SINUS Messtechnik GmbH was founded in 1990 and develops and manufactures measurement systems for sound and vibration analysis at its Leipzig site. The product range includes Class 1 sound level meters with integrated octave and third-octave band analyzers (Tango Plus, with PTB type approval), multichannel sound and vibration measurement systems of the Soundbook and Apollo families, acoustic cameras, monitoring systems and software. As an electronics service provider, the company also offers OEM development and contract assembly of electronic circuit boards in SMD, THT and BGA technology for small and medium volumes with board sizes up to 250 x 450 mm. Production is carried out on MYDATA fully automatic SMD pick-and-place machines with a capacity of up to 40,000 SMD components per hour as well as on Royonic THT placement semi-automatic machines. The offering is complemented by CNC machining (milling, drilling, turning), design and prototype construction of test equipment, device manufacturing in small and medium series, and an in-house test laboratory for climatic, mechanical and EMC tests. Applications include occupational safety, environmental noise, building acoustics, materials testing, automotive/NVH, aircraft noise, and mechanical and plant engineering.

Quality and Test Laboratory
The in-house test laboratory performs climatic, mechanical and EMC tests. The assemblies undergo incoming inspection, in-circuit testing, temperature cycling in the climate chamber (-25 °C ... +125 °C), vibration testing with a shaker and automatic functional tests; traceability is ensured via barcode serial numbers on every circuit board and assembly.
