About SIR

SIR S.p.A. is an Italian robotics system integrator that has been developing, designing and manufacturing custom robotic systems and production lines since 1984. The portfolio includes robotic assembly and palletizing lines, welding systems, foundry process automation, machine tending, robotic finishing processes for surface treatment, and Robotics & Vision with 2D/3D robot guidance as well as qualitative and dimensional inspection. The solutions are designed mechanically and electronically in-house from the ground up for each individual customer and built in the company's own workshop. As a system integrator, SIR works with robots from ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Comau and Universal Robots (cobots). The systems go to internationally leading companies in the automotive, foundry, aerospace, composites and logistics industries. More than 3,600 installed solutions are in operation worldwide; around 70% of production is exported. In 2025, SIR was honored at the ABB Value Providers Conference in Brussels and received a CRIBIS rating award.
