About Skysec Defence

Skysec Defence GmbH develops and manufactures systems for military and civil aviation in Aadorf (canton of Thurgau, Switzerland). The company produces UAV systems for surveillance and operations as well as Counter-UAS solutions (C-UAS) to protect critical infrastructure and public spaces from unauthorized drones. The systems are based on a modular architecture and combine modern sensor technology, AI-supported target detection using image processing and radar, as well as precise interception systems (effectors). All development — electronics (uC, FPGA, GPU), mechanics (Structure & Design) and software (C, C++, QT, Embedded) — is carried out in-house; laboratory and test facilities are located on the company's own premises, and flight tests are conducted with the company's own flight-test pilots and technicians. In addition to development, Skysec handles the industrialization of new product generations from prototype to series production ramp-up (NPI), including manufacturing and testing processes as well as assembly. Customers include the military, civil aviation and operators of critical infrastructure.
