SMC Austria GmbH, based in Korneuburg on the city limits of Vienna, is the headquarters of the SMC CEE Group and part of the globally active SMC Group for industrial automation. The portfolio includes pneumatic actuators and cylinders, valve islands, compressed air preparation, vacuum technology, electric actuators and control technology as well as gas and fluid technology components such as media valves, media pumps, regulators and sensors. In addition to sales, the company offers technical support and application consulting, engineering tools and product configurators, product training, and a 24h express delivery from the CEE central warehouse in Austria. Within the SMC CEE Group, which has more than 900 employees, there are production plants in Austria and the Czech Republic; local assembly and final inspection take place in many CEE countries. Industries served include industrial automation, the food industry, chemical/fluid handling, hydrogen production and compressed air efficiency. With subsidiaries and sales partners, customers in 14 countries of Central and Eastern Europe are served directly.
