SOLAR SPIDER is a Vienna-based company that develops complete photovoltaic systems for installation on vertical surfaces such as facades and walls. The standard PV modules are prefabricated and wired in an automated production facility. The patented folding technology enables transport of the entire system in one piece as well as rapid hanging on the designated surface, significantly shortening the assembly effort on the construction site. Retrofits on existing buildings are possible without additional roof loads. In addition to prefabrication, the company offers engineering and planning services. The head office is located in Vienna.
