Sortimo Walter Rüegg AG is a Swiss provider of customised vehicle racking systems for commercial vehicles. At the Sortimo centres in Oberhasli, Jegenstorf, Altishofen, Rolle and Manno, the company with around 130 employees plans and installs complete conversions – from the floor plate to the roof rack to the entire vehicle racking system. The company's own workshop in Oberhasli includes joinery, metalworking and metal assembly; modern machines are in use such as a laser cutting machine, a CNC woodworking machine and a press brake, and aluminium is also welded, among other things for Workerboxes. Up to 180 vehicles are completely converted per week. For over 40 years, real crash tests have been carried out with partners such as ADAC, DEKRA, TRL, TÜV and UTAC. Customers come from the trades, construction, electrical, plumbing/heating, mechanical and metal engineering, as well as from authorities and emergency services. Since 2026, the company has been certified to ISO 9001:2015.
