Speed Computer is a sole proprietorship founded in 1995 in Kaiserslautern with a retail store and its own workshop on Königstrasse. The offering includes consulting and sales of individually configured computer systems (office, multimedia and gaming PCs), repair of PCs, notebooks, smartphones and tablets as well as mainboard repairs at board level. Further services include hardware upgrades, operating system installation, network installation and configuration including router and firewall setup, telephone systems with VoIP and ISDN, cloud computing and NAS storage, remote maintenance, data recovery, backups, virus and spyware removal as well as cost estimates and damage reports. Customers range from private individuals to medical practices, law firms, architects, engineering offices and mid-sized companies through to supplying Ramstein Airbase and its associated staff.
