About SRS-Stahl
SRS-Stahl is an independent, stock-holding steel trader and metal specialist based in Augsburg that has been supplying the steel and metal processing industry, mechanical engineering, tool and die making, and the trades for over 25 years. The company permanently stocks more than 1,400 tonnes of metal in over 80 grades and manufactures precision cuts from it by sawing, milling and grinding. The product range extends from free-cutting steel and brass to stainless steel plate cuts and special grades such as 42CrMo4(V), 1.4305 or EC80 extra. The highly automated sawing operation uses 23 high-performance saws from KASTO, a fully automatic KASTO high-bay warehouse, and the automated production line RoboTLine. In addition, SRS-Stahl offers expert advice on material selection, just-in-time delivery, and the outsourcing of upstream processes such as material handling, roughing and grinding work. Orders can be placed digitally via the web shop, Excel file or EDI interface; the company already supplies more than 1,000 customers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
